Departure Day

CHECK-IN begins at 8:00am please arrive no later than 9:00 am for check-in. Please bring your passport to check in

Check-in will be taking place at the Intrepid office upstairs in the Point Loma Sportfishing building. There will be a sign where you can line up and I will make an announcement when I am beginning check-in starting at 8:00am.
When you arrive, there will be a designated cart to grab your belongings from the car. Set you gear on the sidewalk behind the INTREPID sign, releasing the cart for the next passenger to unload. Our dock workers (the red shirts) will have the list of pre assigned boarding order numbers. When carts become available, they will load your gear into assigned carts. It’s important to keep carts empty as most mornings there are multiple boats arriving and departing. At boarding time, the red shirts will take carts down one at a time in single file order while you walk next to your cart.
Intrepid will be supplying all linens: sheets, pillows & blankets, if you prefer to bring your own please do so. Also remember to bring your own toiletries and towel for showering. There are outlets in all staterooms. Please do not leave items charging while you are not in the stateroom. `
FUEL SURCHARGE*: There has recently been a fuel surcharge ranging from $10-$20 per day & collected at check-in. This is to try and offset the increase in fuel costs we are paying. This will be based on the current rate we pay for fuel & an update will come out closer to departure. Cash/Check or Credit Card accepted *This policy is subject to change if fuel prices come down/go up

Dietary Restrictions: If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions please notify me so I can make note for our chef.

Rental/Terminal Tackle: We have rental tackle available on the boat. The line fee is $20-40 per set up. Please let me know if you need loaner gear. The crew will get a list of anglers & once you are on board they will get you set up with what you need. There is terminal tackle available for sale on board in case you happen to leave the dock without something. Check with our crew.

Intrepid Apparel: Sweatshirts, t-shirts and hats are available for purchase at check in from the Intrepid office

Reusable drinkware: At check-in you will be provided a reusable Intrepid mug for the soda fountain, coffee and other beverages. Please help us reduce waste and storage space for paper goods by using the provided mugs. It’s yours to keep so take it home after your trip.

PARKING: The lot price is $14 per day. Kiosks are available in front of Point Loma Sportfishing to pay for your parking in advance of the trip. You will need to enter your car’s license plate number for payment. If you are not able to find a spot in this lot, there should be availability in the Westy's lot on Harbor Drive.

Wi Fi: We have complimentary wifi which works best for texting or emailing. We recommend that you download What's App or Voxer to your smart phone before departure and have your family and friends do the same. While we are offering high speed internet on our trips we have a limited amount of data. Please be mindful of usage and do not do unnecessary streaming. WiFi password: Ozzy2020 (there is multiple router location throughout the boat all use this login)

Fish Processing: If you plan to use one of the fish processing services please make reservations directly with them in advance.
